Dean Zulich graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle's Commercial Photography Program with honors and Best Portfolio of Show Award in 2007.  In addition to his success at the Vh1's TV show The Shot, he is proud to be the Art Institutes Hall Of Fame Alumni.

Dean's partial client list Includes NIKE, UN, CBS, ESPN,  Playboy, ConAgra Foods, USC etc.

His work has appeared in Marie Claire, Vogue, New York Times, Boston Globe, Seattle Magazine, Digital Photo Pro, Mix Magazine, Seattle Times, Los Angeles Fashion Magazine as well as international publications such as ReFoto, ProfiFoto, Gloria etc.

When he is not on an assignment, Dean enjoys teaching and presenting in collaboration with his affiliates. 

Over the past decade and a half, Dean has taught photography/lighting workshops in Seattle, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Fayetteville, Knoxville, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia and he is a member of the Los Angeles Center for Photography faculty.

He has given presentations at the Photo Plus Expo in New York, PhotoCon in Los Angeles, Glazers Photofest , Kenmore Camera Expo and Art Institue in Seattle, PPR and SCAD in Atlanta,  Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, Art Institute Las Vegas, Academy 387 in Sarajevo, Bosnia, KUD France Presern in Ljubljana Slovenia and Watoto in Kampala, Uganda. 

He has done pro bono work within his community for non-profits such as Pasado's  Safety Haven in Seattle, Wildlife Waystation in Los Angeles, WYSM in Long Beach and California State Parks Foundation.
